Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius.

montage of spring.

this spring has been wonderful: so many things on my “summer do” list have already been crossed off..i love when that happens. i have a feeling it’s going to be a great summer.

dear tummy,

today, i found out that i do not have celiac disease..meaning, i have restricted myself from eating delicious goodness for over a year and these tiny sacrifices could be in vain. and the worst part is, my stomach is still in abnormal amounts of pain. i need to get to the bottom of this, and soon. not that i want to self-diagnose (although it’s so easy to do), here are some possibilities of what could be going on in my tummy:

  • gluten-intolerance (vs. full celiac disease)
  • Chron’s disease
  • irritable bowel syndrome
  • good old sensitive digestive system

so dear tummy, please tell me why you’re so sad.

hoy me siento confundido y frustrado porque mi estomago es un misterio!

sincerely, steph.

blessed to have sunny days with friends.

you know something, Diana? we are rich. we have sixteen years to our credit, and we both have wonderful imaginations. we should be as happy as queens.
